Culvita Special Potting Soil is designed for all indoor, balcony, terrace, bedding, and perennial plants. This specialized potting soil is particularly suitable for potting and repotting houseplants.
Not suitable for:
Do not use Culvita Special Potting Soil for acid-loving plants such as rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns, and heather (Erica). For these plants, we recommend using Culvita Acid-Loving Planting Soil.

How does EasyCoat work?
The fertilizer coating consists of an elastic resin. Nutrients are released gradually and in a controlled manner. After application, water enters the micropores of the coating, dissolving the nutrients and creating a concentrated solution. The specially developed coating then ensures a controlled release of nutrients over the indicated period.
The release of nutrients is temperature-dependent:
- As the temperature rises, plants require more nutrients, and EasyCoat releases them accordingly.
- At an average soil temperature of 15°C, EasyCoat provides nutrients for six months.

Application:
- Moisten the root ball well.
- When repotting into a larger pot or planter, ensure that the new pot is thoroughly clean.
- If the pot is unglazed, let it absorb water before use.
- Place a few pot shards over the drainage hole if necessary.
- It is recommended to add a layer of Culvita Hydro Granules for better drainage.
- Fill the new pot or planter with Culvita Special Potting Soil and position the plant without damaging the roots.
- Water generously, but ensure no excess water remains in the pot.
- During the growing and flowering season, plants in pots or containers require regular watering.
- Avoid letting the potting soil dry out completely.
